LifeFile SA is a digital preparedness platform that helps you organise personal, financial, and family information. It is a productivity and organisation tool — not a law firm, financial adviser, or insurer.

Content on the site, including assessment scores and recommendations, is general guidance only. Decisions about wills, cover, guardianship, and estate planning should be confirmed with qualified professionals licensed to practise in South Africa where appropriate.

• You must provide accurate registration details and keep your login secure.
• You are responsible for activity under your account.
• You must be 18 or older to create an account.

You retain ownership of the information and documents you upload. You grant us a limited licence to host, back up, and display that content solely to operate the service for you. You confirm you have the right to upload the materials you add.

Do not misuse the platform: no unlawful content, no attempts to breach security, and no sharing of another person's sensitive information without a lawful basis. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Free features may be limited. Paid plans (where offered) renew according to the pricing shown at purchase. You may cancel according to the cancellation options available in your account or by contacting support. Fees already paid for a billing period are generally non-refundable unless required by law.

We aim for reliable uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features labelled as "coming soon" or "in development" may change or be delayed.

To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, LifeFile SA is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you or your family make based on information stored in or generated by the platform. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

We may update these terms. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The "Last updated" date on this page will change when we publish revisions.
